An Introduction to Death and Bereavement
This course offers an introduction to thinking about death and bereavement and the role that these play in the personal and professional lives of delegates. During the training we will explore different theories of grief, as well as discussing the cultural and historical contexts. Different media and artistic representations of bereavement and grief will also be examined to illustrate how these impact on our individual and group behaviour. The training is designed to combine experiential skills with theory and will assist delegates to deepen their skills base, personal reflection, and emotional intelligence within their professional practice.
